we shall see, i trust those who do the business for City

I trust them also mate..... but I also trusted them after the 2012 season (when we won the league) but after winning the league, they felt that they didn't need to improve and bring in upgrades and we were poor the following year.......they do make mistakes and I'm just hoping that they don't feel defense is fine, just because we won the prem this year.......when you stand still in this league, other teams take over.....we cant afford to stand still with this back four......CM is going to cause us major problems if we do.....

They weren't there in 2012

Shame on you. You are letting facts get in the way of a good slagging off for people who work for City!

Star: City are considering Pepe (31, Real Madrid), Mats Hummels (25, BVB) & John Stones (20, Everton) as alternatives to Mangala & Benatia.

NEWSFLASH: Anyone can say anything on the internet.....or the British Press!!

The business City WANT TO DO will get done. If they don't think someone is good value, then we will go somewhere else. No longer will we take players who think this is a payday, or whose clubs think they can mug us for an extra £5-10 million. If that is Mangala, Benatia, or anyone else, I think it applies.

We ALREADY have a world class SQUAD, and whoever comes in is NOT a guaranteed starter, the way they would be at many clubs! Throw in Manchester as a place to live versus London, Paris, Madrid and Barcelona and there are definitely players who would rather go somewhere else. Good for them!

Hummels is better than both Mangala and Benatia....

How old is Hummels and what sort of price would he cost?

The question we often forget to ask when discussing some players is "Why would he come to City given what he has where he is?"

When I think of players like Pepe and Hummels, etc., this is the question that always come to mind.
