Re: Eliaquim Mangala
Is there any precedent to a footballer stepping in over his third party owners and trying to solve transfer talks? Benatia wasn't willing to lose money, he was looking for a raise that was "promised" to him by his original club and was going to look for his worth elsewhere which we were rumored to pay. There really isn't anything Mangala can do right now, he did his part which was shown in the video that was leaked. Everything else is left to the suits.

He will have known them for a long time so should have some pull over them. If he was really eager to join us you'd have thought he'd have had a word or even decided to give them a bit extra out his own pocket just like Benatia was willing to lose money to join us and City could have reimbursed him with an added bonus in his contract or something. Whole thing is just strange.
