Me neither. Some are far too quick to discount the value of experience. I wouldn't be letting him go anywhere.

Must admit I was rather taken aback with Michael Owens comments on Saturday,that he rated Demi and felt some of the media were being a little unreasonable about the errors he had made.

Completely agree, feel he can have a Viera type effect, you can never have enough experience.

This, Demichelis at City seems has lots of echoes of Vieira at City.
A player the new manager knew well, tons of experience, relatively cheap.
Vieira got a very similar amount of stick to Demichelis in his first 6 months, but now most would agree he was a very good bit of business.

A player the new manager knew well, tons of experience, relatively cheap.
Vieira got a very similar amount of stick to Demichelis in his first 6 months, but now most would agree he was a very good bit of business.

Vieira had a lot more experience in England though, whereas MDM doesn't really even speak English to any standard. I'd be surprised if any of the non spanish speakers are learning much from him and I can't imagine him sticking around in the way that Vieira has
