Eliaquim Mangala

West Brom would be good for him or Newcastle or indeed the Arse - would like to see how he does with a full season in the Prem.
I reckon he would do well in any team defending deep, so WBA or Newcastle would really be good for him. In fact most PL teams would get a good defender in Mangala. Strange the queue is so short.

Wages I imagine is the major issue

I think Mangala thinks he is better than he is and wants a big team but that means a loan, which we don't want. I think he has banked on us giving in to get Evans but while he has waited Inter have moved on perhaps.

Honestly if he's second choice to Inter he needs to put City's best interests first(over Inters) who have paid his wages all this time and tried their best to secure him a move that suits everyone. He should go to West Brom or Newcastle... or if he has assurances of game time at Arsenal even better for him.

Evans reads the game better but they're both below average. Mangala has more mistakes in him though.
This is true but Mangala has the pace to recover from what is, in Pep's system, a very high line. I am not saying we should keep Mangala far from it but he could still do a job somewhere. Just concerned that Evans is being pursued mainly because we want to occupy the other spots with non-HG and we're probably going to let Delph move to Stoke on loan.

Hoping Stoke will buy rather than another loan.

I'm not sure where all the love for Mangala comes from. Other than his debut he always looked an accident waiting to happen for me. His distribution was crap, he dithered on the ball too much, his positional play poor. For
Me he is one of the worst buys on a money spent basis since the takeover.
