Fantastic group/band .....

i recall buying their single 'Showdown' back in the early 70's , i knew then they were something special ... ELO rarely put a foot wrong from there on .

Apart from the time they were caught lip syncing a live concert to pre - recorded music on a North American tour. Lost any respect I had after that.

Pioneers of live lip-synch!! Copied by just about every third-rate chav act in the UK since 2005. Oh... and Madonna / Kylie / Ga Ga etc All 'live' my arse.

Put simply, a great pop song by a great pop band (at least compared to the shite going around today)!!

I couldn't agree more.

Mr Blue Sky is my favourite ELO single, but I love them all.

Top band and a colleague of mine reckons they are very under-rated.
