Fantastic group/band .....

i recall buying their single 'Showdown' back in the early 70's , i knew then they were something special ... ELO rarely put a foot wrong from there on .

One of my all time favourite bands. Some classic albums and some classic songs. How can you not smile when "Mr Blue Sky" or "Wild West Hero" comes on the radio?

Just fucking listen.

I also love The Clash. Am I weird?

I've not got a pic of Frankie Howerd, but nay, nay and thrice fucking nay.

Mister Blue Sky. ;-)

Nothing better. Would have been my first single had Woolco at Civic not sold out; Take A Chance On Me and Ally's Tartan Army were never as good!

A new world record was first album I ever bought, along with Albedo 0.39. Still love them both. Out of the blue is amazing especially Concerto for a Rainy Day section. Cannot listen to anything they did after these as it became too pop and disco for my taste. The Clash wre a good pop band as well (great live- but not punk - thank Christ)

Apart from the time they were caught lip syncing a live concert to pre - recorded music on a North American tour. Lost any respect I had after that.
