Elon Musk

I must have different settings as I haven't seen a murder yet or torture.

Granted I think I fell into a bubble, saw some dodgy shit and happened to pause on it for a few seconds to work out what I was seeing and it decided it was all I wanted to see.

But a guy with his hands tied behind his back. Hung from a wall by said hands probably dislocated shoulders cos of it and a bloke using a petrol powered strimmer on his legs and sides was the end of it for me.

Then footage of people blowing their brains out. One guy saying goodbye to someone at a lift. Gave them a hug and waved bye. Then as the door closed pulled out a gun and blew his brains out. Literally saw his head cave in.

Stopped looking then.

That happened a long time ago. Basically unusable for what most people joined it for nowadays. Every other post is a 'suggested post,' you barely see anything from your actual friends, and the posts from groups just disappear while you're reading them forcing you to trawl through the group to find them again. The number of times I've thought "I haven't seen anything from him in a while" only to visit their profile and find they've been posting something most days.
I get emails telling me a friend has posted something - with a link to something else.

Even groups I'm admin for show ancient stuff rather than what I've just posted (if I can work out how to do it at all).

Just for fun, I share this video about the breach on the Bridgewater Canal. Just a short watch to the relevant bit.

When Musk first took over, for no reason a horrible video came on my feed.

A women and her toddler were dropped off by someone in a car, she got out, put the toddler on the pavement and turned to get bags or something. In the brief time she did that the toddler toddled, fell and the toddlers head was driven over by the car which was driving off after dropping them off.

Horrific and deeply traumatising to see.

I left twitter after I realised it was making me seriously depressed/angry.

As far as I am concerned the whole lot should be unplugged. People and society are being fundamentally changed in ways we just don’t understand. Not for the better.

That's fucking grim.

And the most depressing thing is that someone took the time to put that video online, free of any moral qualms.

There’s an entire subset of humans for whom moral qualms have been erased by the anonymity of the internet. It’s as if no one has read H. G. Wells’ “Invisible Man”. And as such, those who are happy to be notorious for causing suffering, who delight in it as revenge for all the perceived wrongs done to them — like Musk and Trump, who have literally zero real human friends and who no elite country club would ever accept as members — have an audience who follows and supports them.

Strange that for many Brexiteers it was all about regaining sovereignty from Europe and yet now they are quite happy to listen to and believe in an unelected South African billionaire spouting nonsense about the workings of a country he knows little about.

We need a full public inquiry to investigate it fully for decades and spend billions of pounds to then not implement anything surrounding it.

It’s what they would want.

With Farage touting for the UK to kowtow to Trump to avoid tariffs.
