I agree. Yet the underlying behavio(u)r pattern underscores who he supports and why. I have some friends who supported Trump. Many (but not all) have mea culpa’d by now because they have rudimentary self-knowledge, a willingness to admit mistakes and ethical centers. Those who haven’t are in the same negative-denial feedback loop as the poster in question. Pointing this out is indeed tedious. Ignoring it is more dangerous. It’s why Trump got elected in the first place.
