Twitter reach was organic until about 2016 and then algorithms were introduced and absolutely wreaked havoc. You can post something vanilla and twitter won’t move it. Say something extreme and once it gets any movement twitter will push it right out front for all to see. That’s a real problem and is why extremists are getting so much traction. Twitter is literally sourcing like minded opinions which leads to clusters of hate groups all across the spectrum.
