Not a big fan of his. Love this though.

It is a great song , and unless i'm mistaken , was his only UK solo number one , aside from 'candle in the wind'.

He has a distinctive voice, lots of variety in his work and is a genuine singer/songwriter/musician. I'm in. (so to speak)

Didn't Bernie Taupin write most of his songs?
He's not really my cup of Earl Grey as I find him rather bland, but he has some talent and can actually sing, which is more than can be said for most of today's overhyped, manufactured teenage halfwits.

I recently downloaded 400 tunes onto an ipod shuffle I was given.All sorts of music from 60s/70s/80s/90s and just 1 Elton John song.
Benny and the Jets is a great song.
Can't stand Elton John in any way,shape or form.
Pretentious,gay,publicity seeking ,media darling would be a kind way to describe him.

I'm in. Elton has always loved his Football.

I seem to remember he did a lot of good things during his time as Watford Chairman with regard to Family friendly Stadiums and such and he certainly wasn't in it for money unlike most Football Chairmen today.
