To be fair he’s still only 19 with one good and one bad loan spell behind him. Could still easily make it at the top level. Not at city mind, but another who I wouldn’t write off completely just yet.

They're actually the U21s from this season, they've changed the rules slightly. That said, our U23s previously tended to be all around 18 or so, so not that big a jump if he's physically up to it (probably the overriding consideration TBH).

I was shocked when I read it earlier. In the comments section, a dude posted a link to this thread. It's why I keep my mouth shut when I receive inside info on City. :-|
Also very telling is that Everton received an U17 ban for player approach breaches. I suppose getting the best talent early has gotta be their best way forward for the future, as they pissed hundred of millions up the wall & all they had to show for it was a relegation battle until the final days of the season.

Just an update on my daughter re earlier in the thread.
My daughter has been invited to train with City next month :)
Trying to keep the pressure off, but currently got her running up Kinnoull Hill in Perth!!
