The employee experience manager is a made up title to make the company look good. In the old days a decent management structure together with a pro-active personnel (or HR) department would do the job.
Sounds like a bullshit made up job title for someone who organises the summer BBQ and the Christmas do!!
Keep everyone happy without paying them properly, in other words. Right up there with those 'take care of your mental health' emails and workshops without ever addressing the fact that their working conditions are the reason everyone's mental health is fucked in the first place. The irony is that if they didn't hire this person, they could afford to give everyone a pay rise. What does an employee experience manager do?
"Employee experience managers excel at building and sustaining a positive and fruitful work atmosphere. They strive to create an organization that beckons and keeps capable employees by addressing matters beyond compensation packages, perks, and benefits"
My neice does this job for a big firm. Organises trips and days out for target hitters. Gets paid very well for it and loads of perksSounds like a bullshit made up job title for someone who organises the summer BBQ and the Christmas do!!
