Saw the named envelope they came in
Of course they were.
Of course they were.
Daft Donald likes this post. 'Can you borrow me 10p?'
You may not be able to recall it but I can assure you it is true, platinum came about years after the point system came in, 2011 from memory. It wasn't a sob story it was my choice, one that now entitles me to get tickets for pretty much any game under the system city put in place. As for us and them as far as I can see its the high points holders who have been saying the new system is flawed, ironically it was those with less points who were pushing for the change, a change which has now frozen them out.It was 2002 that loyalty points were first given when we got back into the PL to stay. I cannot recall any credit being given for my earlier away matches or else I would have had a fair old wad - there were a lot of games in the lower divisions plus those minor cup matches. Please.please spare me the sob story about 'student eats toast shocker'. There were many blues who couldn't go to matches because they had to put decent food into their kids' mouths. They found it difficult to earn enough to feed those families let alone 'earn' points. Were you able to afford Platinum btw?
I am afraid that there is an awful streak of self entitlement and perceived superiority amongst many high points holders. You use the word 'we' as a collective pronoun for that group and some even use 'us and them' in a disparaging way and laugh about those who in vain hoped to catch up. Not pleasant at all.
So whose allocation do the extra come out of if the 5% has already been allocated
Not pleasant but accurate.
Rich Blues look down arrogantly with a superior sneer on their less fortunate counterparts openly saying 'I am alright Jack'.
Not the Conservative Party conference but the way so many City fans act over tickets. Unfortunately.
Where are you posting from comrade? The 1930s?
I'd be astonished if there was a correlation between personal wealth and points accrued.
The clear correlation is between away games attended and points accrued, which requires effort over a prolonged period of time.
Those with personal wealth don't need points. Many feel that they've put in the effort over they years and are now being looked over in favour of a new fan who has this personal wealth we speak of.
