Empty Seats - Away this time

You can ask for as many as you want. If the whole Corporate allocation is 150 (which won’t be far off for Bournemouth) you can theoretically ask for 150. Obviously won’t get them though but if amazingly no one else in Corporate had asked for any then you would. In reality that won’t happen and if demand exceeds supply (which it did for Bournemouth) then initially everyone is limited to 2 (whether you own a box or a seat in Joes) and then they either ballot or give what’s left to those who pay most for their home corporate

Which would indicate it wasn't corporate that are to blame. So why were their empty seats ? One thing I would say is perhaps we as a fan base are very quick to slag off sections of our support with little evidence. Points Whores, Supporters Clubs and now Corporate have all been blamed for abusing the system and yet it may well be that none of those 3 are to blame for more than a handful of tickets.

Thanks for the post pal, very informative. Out of interest do you know if there is a cut off point of when to apply and so when any spare tickets return to sale to ticket point holders?

A lot of the fans interviewed by Cheesey for his blog were quite clearly Southerners and middle aged. Not sure how or where they got their tickets. Didn't seem like high points fans living oop North and I don't think OSC local branches would be given many tickets in view of low allocation.

Changing subject slightly my pic quality with a Now pass is bloody awful, like some poor quality dodgy stream. Anyone else have same prob? They keep sticking up the price as the service deteriorates.

Even the OSB’s have been squeezed, and they are now also finding it difficult to get away tickets.

They were offering coach seats to any City fans who wanted to travel to Bournemouth and back, just to fill the seats on their coaches.

The one good thing about Bournemouth away is that the 1200 City fans who are there are either lads who go to nearly every game or young lads who go that extra yard to get in , didn’t see many tourists

Yep. All has to be requested BEFORE The first day of sale. So, when Norwich went on sale (which was a Monday) all applications have to be in the day before then. That way they can calculate whether the full 55?? Percent or more are available to season ticket holders. Email comes out to all Corporate on the first day of tickets going on sale to say “you have asked for X and got X” although if you don’t get what you ask you can say no (so if you ask for 4 but get 2 you can say no).

Why the assumption that only northerners can have high points.
Maybe southerners drive 400 plus for every home game and have accumulated points over a period of time.

Loyalty seems the fairest way to do it. They just need to eliminate those who buy and pass on with no intention of going.
