Shocking!

Look at all those empty seats.

And that's with a fair few season tickets holders missing today.

The demand is there. Just price it right.

Good turn out yesterday rewarded with a poor display and result.

Agree that pricing is the main issue to get the ground full for all games (helped also with better performances)

We miss a trick with these games. A whole lot of fans who maybe only do these type of more affordable game.

This season they have witnessed that yesterday, a 2-0 loss to Newcastle and a 2-1 loss to Moscow. A scratchy win against SW and one decent win.

The problem is that once you price out fans they get replaced with the rich and they can pick and choose what games they go to, if i missed a game it would be spinning in my head how much money i had wasted.

I agree these are showcase games to attract casual supporters who don't go that often and give them the bug to come to more games. Abject performances is not going to encourage them to come back even if the ticket price is cheap.

Good point mate. If these were the only games that you'd been able to afford, then you might be forgiven for thinking you're a jinx!

The season has taken a sharp dip in the space of a short few weeks. That said, we're 2nd in the league, playing Barca in the Champions League soon and looking forward to another £25m striker making his debut soon...

Ain't all that bad really, is it?!

With performances like yesterday there will be more empty seats. At the end of the day it's an entertainment business and that just wasn't very entertaining.

You're missed the point. Millwallawayveteran1988 is spot on.

I managed to get my wife to come yesterday (first time this season) and daughter second time this season. Neither of them enjoyed it and said they did not want to come again.

For a neutral it was probably very entertaining.

However I am starting to question still being in these cup schemes and I'm sure there are lots of others who will be thinking the same. I have spent close on another £200 this year on the cup games plus cost of travel etc... and I'm starting to question if my effort is being matched by the players and manager.

Not only could we lose the irregular fan and more inportantly their kids, we will lose more ST holders from these games.

I can't blame them mate. I watch my Mrs slip in and out of a coma every home game

I can't blame them, after last season I thought we could only get better and thus dipped deeep into my savings by following them as much I could in all competitions this season - even the League Cup which I hate!

As I've always said, I don't care if City lose 10 - 0, so long as I see them go down fighting.

Next season I'm going to pick and chose and have a lot more time to do other things after working my bollocks off each week.
