Empty seats.. worsening trend?

fair enough with newbies without history but those with proven regular attendance and the same contact details/ supporter number etc should be able to buy without having to fork out for membership as well

it's a disincentive when they're already having to pay much more than they were used to when they could afford a ST

Shocking!

Look at all those empty seats.

And that's with a fair few season tickets holders missing today.

The demand is there. Just price it right.

I might be wrong, but I always get the impression that a tourist hoping to see a football game in Manchester would be welcomed with open arms at the swamp.

At City he/she would probably have to pay a fee to become a member and then be told that he/she wasn't eligible for a ticket until three days later.

My sister works in London and usually goes to games at Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham and Chelsea.
The red tape that she has to go through for the occasional home game is frankly pathetic.

Good turn out yesterday rewarded with a poor display and result.

Agree that pricing is the main issue to get the ground full for all games (helped also with better performances)

Strange - why don't you go and find out for yourself?

I had 6 empties near me yesterday. All usual ST holders not present.

2 got filled later on by a bloke and his wife, the bloke was a high pitched squealing knob jockey who lambasted players for not getting forward, then berated them to get back quicker. Wanted everyone to "hit it" on their weaker foot and constantly asked Boyata and Kolarov "whatya doin?" (tbf he had a point there.) Also told Milner off for having the audacity to speak to Pellegrini when he should've been watching the ball...

Think I would've preferred them empty.

I'll start with the boro "fans" first...

Song no1: Where were you when you were shit?

Coming from a club who have spent all but 7 of the previous 20 seasons in the premier league, and who's attendances have HALVED SINCE 2004, I find this one particularly hilarious. Perhaps not quite as hilarious as song no2 however...

Song no 2: Manchester's a shithole, I wanna go home!

OK then.

Song no 3: See song no 1. They seemed to quite like that one.

Song no 4: (not long after singing no3 to us) - We forgot that you were here.

Great "banter". Factually incorrect, inconsistent, hypocritical and no originality whatsoever. What fabulous supporters.

We were OK; pretty much like the team though - set out OK and dipped from there!

The irony of singing "where were you when you were shit" from a bunch of muppets who's home gates have more than halved since they left the top flight. YCMIU.
