Encountering City players / staff in everyday life

Met Franny Lee in the Ship Inn in Styal on the way back from Derby vs City, he bought us all a drink, there were around 6 of us.
Met Paul Stewart and Gazza in a disco club in Blackpool, Paul chatted but Gazza didn't want to.
Met Mick Doyle as I sat on the centre spot during a game at Newcastle, the one we were getting a kicking from the Geordies, he told me to fcuk off!

Kolarov in Manchester Arndale during the 11/12 season, all the shops were closed, walked up the stairs turned and nearly bumped right into him (which probably would have sent me back down the stairs), nice guy, shook his hand, told him to go and get us that league title.

Andy Dibble
In the Windmill Denton one Friday night when my pal had lost his job and was devastated, really upset
Dibs saw us at the bar in our city tops and came over and bought us all drinks esp my pal to cheer him up
Really nice Gesture

I once stood in a newsagents queueing for a 'Football Pink' next to Wyn Davies. Too shy as a kid, to say owt. No idea whether he lived nearby or was just passing through. Spoke to Uwe Rosler for about 40 mins one time overseas, & he spent most of the time asking me stuff about City before he had signed. True 100% blue.

I used to see Niall Quinn in the school playground, he was a year and a foot ahead of me even in those days.
My dad and brother bumped into Woy Hodgson just up from the Armadale centre on the morning of the Fulham game about 08 when we led 2 nil and lost 3 2. Me and my other mate split up moments earlier to visit Ann Summers store.
When I was about 9 or 10 my dad brought to a game at Dalymount park between a Shamrock Rovers legends team and the rags old boys. I ended up in the changing room standing beside bobby ticket tout who was starkers ( yes he'd more hair below) ,with my autograph book hanging out. Truly embarrassing

Used to have a kick around with Nicky Sumerbee when he lived on firs way, sale. I was only a kid, and he always had the time of day suggesting half of sale used to knock his door. Saw kinky a few times there as they were best mates.

Niall Quinn was at a fun run in wynshawe, met him

Tony gave me a tenner for a drink plus the famous photograph of him on Mike Doyles shoulder in 69 lovely fella
Dennis was less nice and had a nose bleed on his way to a function ? His wife was a fuckin nightmare
