End of the world

Hindsight and all that bullshite mate. It made you a better person so think of the pros. Still though, poor lass, but the real world has so much shite to throw at people, no doubt she's had other setbacks.

I had a bad one last year, my tennant had gangrene and we were visiting him at the hospital 3 days a week, he had no friends or family. His condition was deteriorating every week with sepsis. Just bringing him a coffee and visiting him lifted his spirits.

When school resumed it was hard for us to get to see him. My wife called me and asked me to go after lunch on a Monday and bring him a cuppa and have a chat with him, I said I would pop over on me ebike.

Anyway, as it was a typical Monday, I couldn't be arsed and made a few cuppas and listened to Spotify instead. I got a call from my wife later on crying asking if I were at the hospital, she got a call he had a heart attack. I had to tell her no. She bombed it there in her car when she got there he was brown bread. I felt like shite
You're bound to feel like shite but you had A day off and that was the vital day. You probably did more than anyone who wasn't paid to look after him.

I laughed at "Harry the bastard" a "Jaff" when I was on a Rapier Sqn and we were deployed. We were both sergeants and his lads detested him... One lad had wanked into Harry's soap dish and I laughed when he said "don't you just hate it when you get all the scummy bits on your soap"

I daren't tell him what they did to his toothbrush or to the rim of his coffee cup....

I once shagged a fatty I found alone crying late one evening years ago on Blackpool beach.
Exactly what citykev deserved after leaving that poor girl stranded and heartbroken in a pub in Eccles.

Fucked a mates ex when they broke up - only for them to get back together and marry. Went on holiday to avoid the wedding.

I lied through my back teeth in defence of a colleague when a dispute was raised at work. We had a guy in who was fucking useless and my colleague was responsible for training him. He alleged she’d told him to do X, Y and Z which had resulted in a very unprofessional e-mail going out. Thankfully it didn’t result in reputation damage but it could’ve done.

I had to sit in front of HR and management and witness that she hadn’t shown him wrong things to do on purpose. I had no idea because I tune off when I’m engrossed in what I’m doing at work. My sole interest was ensuring he left as he was a nightmare. Failed at school, kicked out by his parents etc. He was only there because he had a friend in management who placed him in our department.

In his sacking meeting (which he wasn’t expecting), he broke down hysterically saying we’d cost him everything. His girlfriend didn’t work and they had nothing to fall back on. My suspicion was that he was trying to take my colleague down with him but I had no idea. She was a 19 year old girl and had become frightened by what was happening. She even feared for her own safety. I just wanted to protect her.

The four of us on the team went for Nando’s at lunch as it was payday and nobody seemed to give a fuck he was gone. I stuck my neck out to save my colleague which I’d never do again. There is a chance that he’d been set up and I’ll never really know. He was just a Grade A loser and I wanted shot of him from my team.

Only a sociopath takes pleasure in dismissing someone but this almost felt good. I don’t work there myself anymore which is why I can share it now.
