Endoscopy without sedation

I find it odd that you are given a choice, when i had my Endoscopy and Colonoscopy here, i was given a general anaesthetic.
When i went back 12 months later for another Colonoscopy, same again, a general anaesthetic.

That's Oz blokes for you mate - bunch of limp dick mard arses.
They need a general anaesthetic to watch the Ashes nowadays.

I hated it mate, even the anesthetic down before the camera. At least found out what was up and now on 7 tablets a day so worth the discomfort

I think with all the deliberate misinformation I was given by piss taking old blokes plus going on the internet for medical advice I could hardly sleep the night before. Bricking it pal. Had the sedative and can't really remember much else other than the telly. No bother compared to having a swab were the doc puts a cotton bud looking thing down your japs eye. That made me cry.

You want to try having a camera down the old japs eye then.Ouch, it fooking hurt at first but then became more uncomfortable than anything else.But the first two pisses after, AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaarrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhh.
A nurse stood behind me and said " hold my hand" I thought "what the fuck ..." The doc said "cough as loud as you can"
So I did.The next words I remember shouting were "BASTARD !!!!!" I then apologised for my outburst and the nurse having now let go off my hand (I honestly thought I`d broken her fingers) said "its OK love,we`ve heard worse than that !!"

Jesus H Christ what did you do in a previous life to deserve that? I'd have to be sedated to get me in the car taking me.

I was a gibbering wreck, took the drugs on offer, docter and nurse had done it thousands of times so i it's sounds a lot worse than it is. Uncomfortable is the worse I felt. Now having cameras down your truncheon is a different matter....... just thinking of it makes me balls shrivel.
