The anthem should be a song about England or the English, not an old woman who lives in a castle.

Due to our lack of a codified constitution England does not have a nominated national anthem (nor does the UK)- God Save the Queen merely acts as a de facto national anthem in lieu of further direction from, the rather idle, Parliament on the matter.
