Spot on. Grealish offers something different to others in the squad, with his control and ball retention. He's also vastly experienced, given all the big games he's played in for City in the last few years.

No disrespect to some of the other players in that squad, but they don't have the same experience at the highest level as Grealish and I think dropping him and Rashford at the same time loses a lot of experience.

It'll be interesting to see how Grealish responds. Hopefully the end of season at City and this disappointment motivates him to prove people wrong next year to get back to top form.

Will struggle against any team with pace , no chance of beating France if they get to semi final
 
Never wanted England to fuck it up more than this tournament. Just need it to be over asap to minimise possible injury for Phil

They’re only classed ‘good’ when they beat us. If we beat them they’re classed as ‘Overated’ ‘finished ’ etc
 
Grealish had been shafted - the selection means Foden and Gordon are his LW’s so our best player isn’t playing in his best position
