Rice is not moving into space when needed. Generally sluggish and needs to dictate play more.
Stones looks frustrated with limited options too.

Rice isn’t athletic enough to play in that position for a top side. He’s too static too often when the defence has the ball. Rodri had that problem when he first came and he’s now a monster, his physical development has been brilliant: fitness, sprinting and strength.

Slow at deciding to get it forward, slabhead has been wasteful, but the ref has shafted England big time. Noticed Phil arguing with him going off at the break.
I’d probably swap Saka for Rashford or Grealish. Been mugged by the officiating so far.

Not impressed by France. Not impressed by the referee or VAR.

England grafting but not creating. Looked better when Phil moved central but not enough support from Bellingham or Rice to apply pressure. Kane largely ineffective but still most likely to score from open play.

Kalvin Phillips for Rice at h/t, Jack Grealish for Henderson h/t or 55 minutes, Raheem Sterling for Saka 65 minutes.

Take some risks. Nick one back from a corner or free kick, and get Jack running at them.

Keep the faith, 3-1 England.
