England v Germany | Nations League | Monday 26th September, 19:45

I’ve given Eddie his fair amount of shit for his shot saving exploits but watching Pope in the first 5 minutes here makes you realise how lucky we are.

You’ve got Stones, Bellingham and James playing neat passes around a very good German press, Stones gives it to Pope who can spread it to the extra, spare man on the other side and he fucks it out of play without a seconds thought. Infuriating
To be fair Pope spent most of his career at Burnley under Sean Dyche and would have been encouraged to just hoof it.
For a competitive match the first ten minutes have been more like a meaningless friendly. Hopefully will get better - crowd haven’t realised that the minutes silence has ended…..

On 3 occasions now Kanes attempted pass/cross has gone out of play each time the tator has said "good intentions from kane again " just say it as it is a poor ball

Said it against Italy but Nick Pope is shit, nowhere near good enough with his feet at this level.

I'd have Ramsdale and Pickford ahead and I don't rate either of them highly either.
I don’t massively rate him, but Pickford’s had a good start to the season. And he’s better with his feet than Pope.

I’d have picked him.

So glad we don't have Kane at City dropping deep every 5 seconds to touch the ball. Will take Haaland touching the ball 4 times and scoring a few goals any day.

He’s quite old to learn how to play with his feet, between the lines etc.

At the moment you can almost see his mind whirring, figuring out what he should do.
