England v Greece | 10th Oct '24 | Nations League

And yet when the main tournaments (WC and Euros*) come around everyone is watching because it's less predictable than club football.

*Copa America is more interesting for the fights and time difference makes it too much of a chore. AFCON is always a level below and always too hot and humid.
Indeed, it is the major tournaments that are of interest - I suspect to the players too.

You missed the years of Okocha and Djorkijef (sp) at Bolton. Did you miss their games against City?
No, saw every game against Bolton. Okocha and co all still played within a cynical framework. His football was great the way he spoke but the reality was somewhat different. The years can certainly play tricks on ones memories. Some people now think that Mike Channon was good.

Mate it was a ludicrously unbalanced selection at international level. It might work in kids football, where I think he used it, but it was ripped to shreds by a bang average Greek side who could have scored five or more.
He is hopelessly out of his depth at this level.
He’s the interim manager, that is all and we were defending like schoolboys but let’s be honest, individually, they all could have done better for each goal.

Seems like Bellingham cant put a foot wrong. The amount of misplaced passes y'day seemed to go unnoticed both in media and commentary. And its not the first time.
Like it or not, football needs a poster boy, and for this generation it's him.

Leah Williamson for the women.

He was, but not when he played for City!!
