Great half for England Saka Sterling and especially Bellingham been excellent

Just goes to show how people view games differently. Other than his goal I thought Saka had been poor. Lost ball most times had it and the game would have been stopped for him falling over just before 3rd if he had his way.

How was I?

A team that doesn’t usually concede more than two goals and only has once in the past seven years says I obviously wasn’t talking shite that they are not an easy side to put goals past usually.

I wasn’t talking shite that Argentina struggled with them the year they were finalists.

I wasn’t talking shite that Spain and Portugal couldn’t put more than a goal past them tje last time they played them and that they beat Uruguay recently.

These are all factual things.

I expected us to beat them, but thought maybe by a goal or two.

Getting a result wrong doesn’t mean talking shite. I think you need to reassess your definitions.

You're not serious.

Saka is a good young player and scored a great goal, but his performance overall has been pretty average. Phil is on a different level.

Phil has still yet to really kick on from when he was a teenager. He's massively inconsistent, has scored in 1 game for England( vs Iceland in 2020). Half of his goals contributions this season came in 2 games.

Saka has more strings to his bow and is younger. They are close in quality but for me Saka edges it due to those 2 things.
