Couldn’t disagree more. As Grealish has shown, operating at a top top club is much more difficult than at a club that never wins anything. If Foden played for Arsenal he wouldn’t be playing in front of a parked bus every week where you need to display elite technical expertise in order to find the breakthrough.

We didn’t always see the best of Foden last season but he was in and out of different positions, often operating in a central striker position where he couldn’t impact the game in the same way.

The idea that Foden hasn’t progressed since being a teenager is of course completely bullshit and shows a complete lack of understanding of the game we play.
