Maybe my memory isn’t what it was, but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen him have a header at goal in his whole career before tonight and then he goes and has two in five minutes.

The problem with that is players who need a decent rest are expected to turn up for competitive games.
 
Piss funny the bigging up of Bellingham and England today, Ireland matched them in the first half absolutely nothing between the sides on top of Ireland not being awarded a stonewall penalty.

The red card changed the game, Once Ireland went down to ten men that was game over and England took control of the game.

That’s not always the case

I’d have thought all City fans would have welcomed this break and a chance to regroup and go again after losing back to back EPL games

He’s never normally up for corners. We’ve always used him as the last man on the half way line for cover.

Think it was an indication of how little Carsley thought of the Irish counter attack that he left Hall as last man at corners.
