So when you see the enemy celebrating, you like it because you don't know the player personal?! This is a bizarre remark, swp. Get Scotty to beam you up,ffs.
Enemy? What are you on about? They are enemies in a footballing sense when playing against City. They are playing with our players for England though. I'm English, I support my national team. That is not bizarre in the least. In fact, looking at this thread it seems that 90% of people are on my mind set.

You do realise that Hart and Rooney are good mates don't you? They holiday together abroad in the summer. If they can get over petty club loyalties when representing the country then so can I.

SWP, you're wrong. It has nothing to do with petty club loyalties. I say it yet again. I just don't know what there is to like. Perhaps you can enlighten me.

To be honest Pam, I think you are taking it all a bit to far to be honest, yes we are City fans, but many of us are also English, we are never going to get an England team made up of players that we all like, or play for a club that we approve.

If football ever lead me to the place you seem to be in, I would have to stop watching it altogether, remember it's entertainment when all said and done

Can I just ask, why do people want Balotelli to do so well? And yes I know he plays for us, but why don't you want Hart, Lescott and Milner to do well? Many might, but there seems to be this weird obsession about Balotelli having a stormer. Is it because you want fans of other clubs to think, 'fuck, he plays for Mancity'? (They already know). If it's not that, what is it?

want all the city lads to have a good game but want balo to more so england go out
Good on yer. Let's hope Hart and Lescott get humiliated.
I see where you're going there. Those bumming Balotelli, (i'm yet to see why), will not have realised that him having a stormer, making Hart and Lescott look shit in the process, damages 2 of our players in the same way it makes 1 of them look shit hot. Well fuck Balotelli tonight, fuck him in the ear and if he has a stormer, (which I will say now that he won't), fuck him in the other ear.
I don't get the fuss.

You know that feeling City gave us a good few weeks back? Well I just won't get anywhere near that feeling if England were to win in similar circumstances.

Funny thing is. I watched 'One Night In Turin' a film/docu about Italia 90 recently and how great was that summer.

Myself really looking forward now to seeing 4 players in a Euro quarter final. Great added benefits of City being actually top notch.

didnt say wanted them to get humiliated, if fact said want them to have a good game, i just would like to see england knocked out. plenty of scenarios where the keeper cant be held at fault for conceding a goal

It is far far more than that.

Really? It's a game a sport, at one time in Manchester people used to watch both teams (away travel was limited) because they enjoyed the sport, I like football, I understand the tribal loyalties but as I have got older I have realized that there is more to life, and I actually enjoy the game a lot more

Then get with the times old man. We don't like each other anymore.

So I presume you'll be wanting Spain (and Silva) to go out in the semi's along with Italy and Balo then?

????
where did you get that nonsense logic???He just wants England to win because he is English.

Any one who wants England to lose because seeing terry and Rooney on the screen hurts their little teenage-like feelings is an idiot.
Ok I'll go slowly as this may be difficult to understand.

What. the. fuck. are. you. on. about?

My post was to damocles who wants England to go out so that the City lads get home earlier. If you read the last few pages, I very much want England to progress.

Unchanged line up apparently.

Anyone who is English and wants Italy to win seriously needs a slap.

Any City fan cheering rags on needs a bigger slap.
No no, I'm the biggest blue.

Jesus wept.

Dont bring religion into this
