Meaningless pre-season kickabout that most club managers would rather not be taking place. I know it's a designated international week, but really. If it was a WC or EC qualifier, that'd be bad enough. But a friendly arranged for the midweek before the PL season starts, with all the associated injury risks? Ridiculous.
