He did well last night without getting much credit. Two assists would normally capture more attention. We are rightly obsessed with Phil because he is one of ours since a small boy and he is a generational talent. I haven't heard you shy away from mentioning Rice once in a while. By the way, he could do with watching Rodri and learning how to make himself available for an out ball. Quite an important skill for a DM that has been sadly lacking in this competition for us so far.Why is everyone so obsessed about Foden and giving him credit? Or that he has to play etc
He’s a great footballer
We all know it
So what if media don’t bang on about him or not - do you really check all media for this ?
For me, he’s a quality England player just like the rest
No need to be obsessive about any of them
It's rather refreshing isn't it?Some of the women commentators piss me off straight away as do a lot of the blokes, but I have noticed a couple of the women in the studio are actually very interesting to listen to explaining tactics and passages of play instead of the usual drivel we’ve been fed for years.

I was still trying to find fault in it at full time!!Being a bit of a sad bastard, couldn't celebrate Henderson's goal. Even if he is playing for England. Think it shows the depth of my hate for anything to do with the players who play for the dippers.
you need a bit of football intelligence and I think sadly that is missing in Rice. He would fit in at Salford, which is where I think he might go.I like to think when other players are getting bigged up for lesser contributions Phil just closes his eyes and thinks about the 9 League and Cup Winners medals he has at 22 years of age and has little smile to himself.
Agree on Rodri/Rice it looked like Stones's head was going to explode with frustration at times. Rodri could show him but he'd have to charge.
It is, the other day me and my lad were chatting away at half time in one of the matches and we just stopped and started listening. What football pundits should be giving us instead of the inane cliches from the old boys club. Still can’t be doing with the screeching match commentators though:)It's rather refreshing isn't it?
