Frankly the english players in the perm are the muscle and the foreign imports provide the technique and brains. England will never perform on the world stage until we start producing players with technique. That will never happen as the premier league needs the english muscle to stand out above the more tactical or skill full leagues. What we see today is the level of english football for years to come I'm sorry to say.
