People with kids that are not that good believe it is very important.

A pretty blinkered n ignorant view. Ive coached kids from grassroots into city utd n countless other clubs.

There's grass roots and there's mere participation. I've coached too.

But grassroots is where our players come from in the UK n to say that its for kids that arent good enough is disrespectful. Its from where all academies r built.

Welbz was well unlucky though. Every time he passed the ball, the clueless **** on the other end of the pass was always too slow to reach it.

I completely agree, just wish Becks was still playing, can you imagine him whipping the balls into Welbz and wazza to nod in, would have won it IMHO

If only Becks and Wazza had played together in the same team. We'd have won the world cup. I don't think it's too late to bring Becks back.

You could kick every single foreign player out of every league and the only thing that will change is the premier league will be shit to watch. It has nothing to do with the number of foreign players it's all because the English players are just not good enough. English players are coached to be fast and strong while the rest of the world teach them technique. Limiting foreign players will do nothing at all. Until coaching young players improves England will always be shit.

English players can't pass, they can't control the ball they don't have the skill or vision of the better foreign players. It is all to do with grass roots and youth player development nothing to do with the high number of foreign players.
