So it looks like Woy has been Pressganged, badgered and persuaded (probably by Gary Neville) to start Rooney at number 10. A backlash to a backlash has kicked in. He will be replacing someone who played well in that role last time out.

If it works great and I`ll hold my hands up but for me it will be a massive fail and we will be relying on the Barklay to try and save us in the last 20 minutes.

Rooney has no discipline for a starting role in England . He talks a good team game but then on the pitch its all me me me and he just chases the ball .

Woy will balls this up and if he had the bottle Rooney should be out . Maybe bring him on as a very last resort near the end when the oppo have tired and are at his level of fitness and he is fired up from being dropped.

I predict a huge fail in this game......hope I am wrong but ultimately not that arsed

Most talented English player at current, and the one with the most potential- easily. Well him and Sterling actually - both miles ahead of anyone else.

Seriously he has talent but needs to learn how to use it. Is this the game for that, I not sure.
