England vs Nigeria - Sat 2nd June

Sterling playing very well. Hes at the heart of everything good about this half. Had a couple of decent chances. He's already clearly a great player but if he can improve on his finishing a tad more he will truly be world class. I think he will get better next season.
 
Like the formation, would make a couple of tweaks. Drop lingard for vardy or rashford and play raheem in behind the front 2, with alli and a holding player in midfield. Also Alexander Arnold and Rose should play, much faster. Sterling has no options, he needs wing backs to overlap.
 
What a thoroughly enjoyable half of football that was from England. Nigeria haven’t been great but we have been so positive. So happy with sterling who is a constant threat and has brought us up the pitch.

I liked Kane leading the team off at half time. They all ran in together which is a very deliberate ploy to gain the psychological advantage. Nigeria just walked off sluggishly.
