rooney in a midfield role will suit this england team if kane and vardy start as well.

for me he is our best long range passer which will be ideal for our quick counter-attacking transitions.

i also think watching the turkey game we lacked experience and leadership which he can bring.
 
Wilshere is the only Englands CM who can pass the ball like a quality international player and Roy leaves him out...
 


First look at Roy's plan to fuck this up, Rose, Walker, Cahill and Milner. Shite. Bertrand, Clyne, Stones and Wilshere and we have a much better chance.

Get Vardy on the right and just have him run in behind Eliseu all game for an easy win.

We can agree to disagree. His running in behind will improve our attacking play no end. Especially since technically were not as good as other countries on the ball.
