Kaepernick was the trail blazing first to do it, hence he drove huge publicity and created a real conversation that has been built upon.

Zaha standing up on his own stood out and created a real conversation.

This has just become a pre-match ritual that that lot have taken to attacking because they feel emboldened to do so, and a good portion of the rest just sit there waiting for the game to start not bothered by it.

If it had had the desired effect then we'd be having a very different conversation, but we aren't.

Why does it take more courage to stand up and appease people then it does to kneel in front of a booing mob?
