England vs Switzerland.

I actually hope England don't qualify for the World Cup.

Only then will people wake up and see that England and The FA need a massive shake-up.
Won't happen, the shake up not the qualifying, you only have to look at FIFA and the way it's run, not a lot different from the FA and we have failed to qualify for major tournaments before and what was the outcome FA

Out: Fabio Capello, Glen Johnson, Rio Ferdinand, John Terry, Frank Lampard, Stephen Gerrard, Scott Parker, Theo Walcott and Peter Crouch.

In: Manager, assisstant manager, Micah Richards, Chris Smalling, Joleon Lescott, Leighton Baines, Jack Wilshere, Gareth Barry, James Milner, Adam Johnson, Wayne Rooney, Ashley Young, Gary Cahill, Phil Jones and Marcus Albrighton.

This but id also lose Barry. Team needs a major overhaul and plan for the future.
Capello is the main problem, playing people on rep and not form. How he can play Glen Johnson and not even consider Richards is a joke. Johnson was no where to be seen at any of thier attacks in his area of the pitch today.
Terry, Lampard, Ferdinand, thanks but now go esp the latter 2.

Parker is the media darling, nothing more. Good player but not upto this level.

Glad im Welsh, at least we dont expect anything and know we are crap

To be fair mate, quite a few of us English know our team is crap too. The media in this country talk the team up but most of us can see our players are not good enough to really challenge for a trophy anytime soon.

Terminal decline under this guy. The last 15 mins we were run ragged , chasing shadows. Had he started with Young and AJ and put Milner in the middle we MIGHT have won as the 2nd goal was totally avoidable. We didn´t deserve it on that display overall. Course they´ll all be saying granny shagger was a big miss - well the coont shouldn´t have got booked last time the twat!

Southgate knows his stuff, he's trying to force Spanish style training at youth level and rid of the old outdated system. One of his ideas is to have smaller pitches so they have to pass more, and also to encourage smaller lads to play football as in the past so many have been bullied out of it. And he was just saying now the reason the players were knackered is because they couldn't keep possession, the national team doesn't keep possession well enough. Maybe Capello should ask Mancini for advice. ;)

I sayd this 100 times from January 11, HOW FGS DOES CAPELLO HAS STILL THIS JOB?

I think it's because the fuckwits at the FA gave him a new contract just before the WC.
