Enough is enough

Hi Colin, thanks for the input. If you hadn't noticed we advertised for a Media Liason Office last year. You should've applied as you often have a lot to say about how the club should be run. ;)
So you think everything's wonderful do you? I assume you never listen to that City Watch podcast then, as that Ahsan bloke who rants and raves really says a lot of what I feel. ;-)

Damn i'd have gone for that, first bit of footage on the site after my appointment would be me and a few journo's rolling out into the car park having a right old scrap hahaha. The noise of shoes scuffing on tarmac and howls of 'fuck your pulling them off man play by the rules' :-D

Maybe we can't ban the lot of em, but we could stop giving them such nice food, as someone else suggested let them get a tuna butty from greggs.

If you don't think the media read what is written on Bluemoon and then allow that to inform what they write you're being incredibly naive.

Did I say that?

The media will do what they like. I'm sure they cherry pick dhit out of here.
The metro made a story out of a City tweet and fans responses the other day.

But unlike in here, where shit spouted is normally laughed at or put down, City offer no such response to the media.

This last week had been a joke, for me the club should have been highlighting that yet another appalling decision changed the entire course of the game.

Fans are simply asking the club to do what you are doing here or as I & @mossideblue do in the Bravo thread and stand up for the club.

The silence is not working, Mourinho has set the narrative over the road.
First he told the media and the fans they were unlucky, then they were playing well, finally the refs were costing them.

They've now had about 10 favourable decisions in the last two months and the media are fawning over them.

We with our strong silence have the media telling everyone we're in crisis and we are getting shit match changing decisions every week.

Dont see the hacks changing their tune anytime soon, so I dont read them. I wish I could get as worked up about this stuff as some do (I dont really) but the main way to change it is to win games. A lot of games. Starting today.

The narrative will then take care of itself, but we are a very easy target at the moment.

I don't agree with your take of what goes on on Bluemoon nor do I agree with your take on what the club "should" be doing. I think that they are in a no win situation and for me I'd rather Soriano and co. treated the likes of Ducker like shit on their shoes rather than fawning to try and get better press.

I also don't believe that our owners have ANY interest in setting a narrative based on negative stuff about referees, the FA, etc. They will want to set the narrative by having a winning football team despite the hurdles put in front of them. I understand it might be upsetting to read a bad article about City, but the best perspective you can have is either not read them, or keep in mind our owners don't give a fuck, and neither should we really. As frustrating as that might be at times.

I was tempted to apply for it. But honestly I'm not moving back to Manchester, not even for a job inside the belly of the beast!
