Enough is enough

We could and should be a great deal more proactive. Bloody hell, its not as if the club isn't doing some amazing things on and off the pitch, locally and internationally. We are following the worse possible strategy in being passive and just taking everything on the chin. Either we get in the medias face by a massive charm offensive highlighting what a wonderful forward looking club we are or we go to the other end of the spectrum and go to war with the bastards and call them out every time they put a step wrong. Either strategy would be better than the compliant toothless half arsed approach we are taking just now. Get the city friendly pundits like Dunny and Trevor Sinclair briefed and paid so that they refute some of the shit thats trotted out by Sky and BT. Get our wonderful Chairman to make a few calls on the right level media executive. Get Pep to give the media dullards less than he does just now - he is too bloody honest for his own good.

JRB hit the nail on the head. I think all decisions are made at the top. I guess if that's true we should do away with our PR team.

I like to support a club that's a club , not some fucking job for the boys who say nothing in our defence or the managers , it's soft from top to fucking bottom, how the fuck can you keep putting out the welcome matt to twats that continually lay into us?

They get what they deserve if they let it carry on and it's tarnishing the image of the club worldwide - which is strange because it's impacting on the owners reputations aswell.

Our image has been set by the media , come out and fight for fucks sake.

I'd ban the fucking lot of them for a month at a time in rotation - we need to start acting like a big club and not some friendly championship standard charity case.

It's fucking poor by the club , why the fuck should us fans fight the clubs corner when they can't be arsed themselves ?

Spineless .

just e-mailed the club reference this forum and the concerns of the supporters , suggest a few more do this it only take a few seconds and just maybe the club will see there is an issue if the get a few hundred e-mails on the subject.
Where did you send it? The PR department?

I suspect that the owners know that results tend to dictate what the media says.

I mean just compare this forum when we win as opposed to when we lose. Half the people on here say exactly the same things that the media have been saying.

Such a good post you should email it to Vicky Kloss.

Completely agree. I wish someone like Vicky Kloss would read some of these posts and see things from the fans' perspective at how we look so soft against the tossers in the media.

Every major organisation needs good PR, even environment destroying obesity pedlars like McDonald's tell the world they're ethical. Just employ the right bullshitters and make the media write what you want them to say, don't sit on your arse taking shit from all directions. Time to start calling these cockney rag media bastards out every fucking time and telling the world about all the brilliant things we do in the community and for young players and hospital visits for kids and how we've made the Prem more exciting than just 1 of 2 clubs winning everything for 20 years, etc etc.

Totally agree. Sadly I think the owners don't want confrontation.

You read this site enough (and let's not kid ourselves, journalists will be reading this as well) and you'll pick up that there are quite a few City fans who think:

1. Atmosphere at home games is shite.
2. Empty seats all over the place.
3. Bravo is a joke.
4. Aguero isn't performing.
5. Tactics are all over the place.
6. Stones isn't good enough.
7. Youth isn't given a chance.
8. We've Spunked money on shite players.

......and lots more.

So, why wouldn't journalists pick up on this as well. They're getting their info from the fans own thoughts and from people who attend games - and the wankers obviously want to concentrate on the negatives, but this place is full of negativity right now. Now, I don't go on other clubs fan forums, but I've seen people on here complaining about how the mods police them, and that certain criticism isn't tolerated - maybe there's a reason..?

Anyway, if we don't win today it will only get worse, especially if those fuckers beat Stoke.

Then it's the clubs fault for allowing it to happen , Pep must think what the fucks all this about, it will get personal with him next and you know what who could blame him if he said fuck it I'm out.

It's a disgrace, all morning it's about Gerrard going back to the dippers. This will run & run they love them it's embarrassing.

If we win today it will fuck there weekend up big time & that's the only way forward & to shut the twats up WIN WIN WIN

Come on CITYYYYYYYY!!!
