Enough is enough

Then it's the clubs fault for allowing it to happen , Pep must think what the fucks all this about, it will get personal with him next and you know what who could blame him if he said fuck it I'm out.

Didn't take you long to revert to type and start slagging the club off.

There's a deep irony in you being in this thread when you do a remarkable job of sounding like a Sun journalist whenever you post on here. Even that post. As if Pep's going to walk away, what a fucking pathetic thing to even infer. Grow some balls.

I suspect that the owners know that results tend to dictate what the media says.

I mean just compare this forum when we win as opposed to when we lose. Half the people on here say exactly the same things that the media have been saying.
So unless we win everything we have to put up with this shit. Cant agree with that as we are treated completely differently to any other club. I have seen the difference a good PR department can make first hand with the cowardly scum that makes up 90% of the UK press and honestly mate the club could be handling this far better.

Not only that but we pay a lot of money to watch City, Vicky Kloss gets paid an absolute fucking fortune to let the press rip the fuck out of our club

Don't disagree with the OP because he isn't making assumptions or blaming specific people. . However, out of interest what is Vicky Kloss's job spec & salary?

City's PR department certainly isn't the best in the league, but then they have a difficult job when the media tend to be one result away from completely laying into the club. They do try to talk to journalists who step out of line, but ultimately they also realise that you're in a no win situation. If you start banning them then you get treated like Mike Ashley not like Slur Alex.

And as I keep saying, what's the difference between the Sun saying Pep's going to quit because he can't handle the pressure and someone on here saying it?

Soriano, he has produced brilliant results year in year out ?,he's not the media guy, he's in charge of the money side of things, and I personally think he's the best in the world at it, just look at our results, unless i don't know what I'm talking about :)

Well said. Let's not have an all out attack on our club. We should be attacking the media

Totally agree. Sadly I think the owners don't want confrontation.

In that case mate my season ticket will be going , I'll join the rest of the armchair twitter mob sat in the pub saying "jolly good show ".

They simply don't give a fuck about the supporters or their feelings for the club, is it any suprise fans are now going through habit instead getting up for it ? our fanbase isn't about silverware it's feeling part of something- what is it we feel part of these days ?

It's the Arabic Holistic approach.

Our owners don't want confrontation, especially in the media. They will tell those running the club to have a quiet word, and to carry on pampering the journalists who churn out this shit on a daily basis, in the hope that they will change their narrative.(they won't)

Unfortunately, and to be fair to the club, a lot of negative writing about the club isn't within their reach. You just have to go on news now man city. Negative, after negative article about Pep, Sergio, the club, etc, rehashed. Tiresome.

Unfortunately as fans and on BM we've been banging on about this for years. I think our only success was against BT, when the club did pull them in, and BT admitted they had screwed us over, especially on the CL coverage.

Unfortunately what the top bod's at City say goes. The management their is very structured, tiered, and trickle down. THERE'S NO ACCESS TO THE IMPORTANT PEOPLE AT CITY ANYMORE.(club policy) Those at the top make the decisions, and those under them implement them without question. To exaggerate, it's a bit like the Borg, The collective. Told and implement.

Gone is the City we knew where the club listened and engaged freely and openly with the fans. Now everything is done within. Behind closed doors. Nobody needs to know what's going on, or what's planned, especially the fans. And even the good people at City, those who are and want to be approachable have fallen in line. For them it's a job for life, a good career with opportunities, and a very good salary. They aren't going rock the MCFC boat and risk their careers.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on your now point of view, we all signed up for the Sheikh Mansour ride when he bought the club. And that includes the way the club is now run.

Sigh. :-(

FFS it's not that bad. A few bad headlines & we're all doomed. Not everybody reads the trash in the papers & we're obviously rattling cages - especially since we dared to get the best manager in the world. Give him time - they will look stupid in a few months time. Meanwhile we carry on supporting our club as we are renown for doing

OP: been saying the same myself for years. It is NOT a coincidence that the most successful club of the past 25 years was also the club that didn't stand for any of this bullshit. Their strategy clearly worked. Ours clearly does not work.

Time to change. (Long overdue actually)

You read this site enough (and let's not kid ourselves, journalists will be reading this as well) and you'll pick up that there are quite a few City fans who think:

1. Atmosphere at home games is shite.
2. Empty seats all over the place.
3. Bravo is a joke.
4. Aguero isn't performing.
5. Tactics are all over the place.
6. Stones isn't good enough.
7. Youth isn't given a chance.
8. We've Spunked money on shite players.

......and lots more.

So, why wouldn't journalists pick up on this as well. They're getting their info from the fans own thoughts and from people who attend games - and the wankers obviously want to concentrate on the negatives, but this place is full of negativity right now. Now, I don't go on other clubs fan forums, but I've seen people on here complaining about how the mods police them, and that certain criticism isn't tolerated - maybe there's a reason..?

Anyway, if we don't win today it will only get worse, especially if those fuckers beat Stoke.

Well said. Some fans on here moan about anything - that's why I think it MUST have been infiltrated by red scum. Perhaps we need stronger moderating

The saddest thing is even this thread, another invitation to slag the club off. The usual suspects straight in with both feet doing exactly that. The irony seems completely lost on them.
