I honestly think we need both.

Surely we are looking to replace Bernardo, Kovacic, potentially Tijani or even Nico G. I would personally keep Tijani (one more chance) and I rate Nico G, but other than Anderson (no brainer) I believe we need someone like Enzo as well. I don't buy into the racist thing, they had an inappropriate dig at France (context), he wasn't the only one, peer pressure does crazy things to people. He seems to get along with Chelsea colleagues and he is Chelsea's captain. If Maresca trusts him that's good enough for me, I have seen enough of him to know his qualities.

Besides, we need an asshole like player, we are definitely too soft. Look at Arsenal players like Gabriel etc. cheat, bully, but you know what, it's working for them. I wouldn't buy so much into internet narratives he is a "racist" or whatever. Let's be honest, we don't know what he is, hell, we don't even know the majority of beliefs of our own players. I don't really care about them too, they do their talking on the pitch.

Fofana said he wasn't racist and that's his own teammate. Not sure what was said myself, but if his own teammate has forgiven him and said he's not racist I'm sure what else there is to it.

if nico and rodri. both wanted to go then anderson replaces one but god not fernadez for the other.

We should be looking at Hugo Larrson or wharton before this **** enzo, and then still not consider him

Bernardo, Tijani & Nico G possibly but I can't see us geting rid of Kovacic.
 
Think if Maresca wants him we will do everything we can to make it happen. Him and Anderson will be great signings and think we will hold onto Rodri next season. Suspect it will only be Bernardo , Stones , Ake and possibly Lewis who go and Fernández, Anderson and Full back who arrive although might leave us light at Centre back. Don’t know much about the singing stuff but lots of young players make stupid mistakes. Long as they learn from them and don’t repeat them I don’t think you can crucify them forever for it. If it’s an ingrained view with no insight into its impact or contrition that’s a different thing.

Would be a big boost for Maresca I think this signing as it would clearly be his guy and show we are backing him with what he needs. Hopefully go some way to dispelling this idea of him being just a stand in manager while we wait for better.
