I would say that a big part of our success was that when recruiting and signing new players we steered well clear of personalities like Enzo, I would be surprised and very disappointed if we even considered him for more than 1 second, it would be a step backwards in my opinion

As signed a player that regularly had brasses back at his house and left himself wide open for a rape allegation. We signed players like this previously.

If Walker didn't play for us some of his extracurricular activities would make us think he was a bellend

With him as captain Chelsea became the laziest team in the league. They got outrun in every game they played other than their recent game against Liverpool.

He is not a leader and he is not someone we can rely on for any real amount of time; just look at the way he left Benfica and how he'll end up leaving Chelsea. So when he starts to get cold feet and remembers how much he'd love to live in Madrid, we will only have ourselves to blame.

Yes he's got some good qualities and yes we need a bit of bite back in the team, but that description fits a hell of a lot of top level players.

For what we'd pay and for the risks we'd be taking, its simply not worth the gamble.

If Maresca loves him them good for him but what then happens if Maresca doesn't work out? Same as what's happening with Fernandez and Chelsea right now.

In fact, I refuse to believe we'd be so stupid as to fuck about with the signing we've worked on for months just to go for this guy.

This is very worrying, Anderson is a player we actually need. I'd like Enzo aswell if we can get him but he's nowhere near as important as Anderson.

Most worrying thing is they're not even the same profile which doesn't bode well for our recruitment this summer if this is true.

I would say you are correct. Not for us.
And we need legs, he has none

Are his stats for other seasons similar or is it a consequence of him playing further forward this year.

24/25 bit more defensive he was used on the wing quite a bit this year, after Maresca left according to chelski fans and not as good , racist but always their most dangerous player when we play them

I was a hard no at first. Then I’ve realised just how good he is at arriving into the box late and has a bit of bite about him too. He’s a bit of a prick, mind. And a lazy one at that. The opposite of what we need.

And I’d hate to get him instead of Anderson.

If we did, I’d be extremely concerned about the transfer strategy.

Could'nt agree more. Hope it's just paper talk, otherwise its a terrible lack of judgement from Viana and Maresca.
 
Wouldnt take any of chelsea's players

So its a no from me, and hopefully our club stick to the tried and tested method of how we identify players
