If it was Garcia wanting to go and a deal for that then maybe there could be something in it, as soon as Cancelo and Semedo gets thrown in though in some kind of swap, makes it sound highly unlikely to me.

Balague is an idiot - he’s generally classified as Tier 3 but personally I don’t rate his info at all. He never is first to accurately report anything since having a minor ITK status with Liverpool owing to his link to Benitez, otherwise always repeating other reports

Some on here can't see the woods for the trees.

If someone came on here for the 1st time and read what was said, they would be convinced that we had the best keeper, the best defence, the best midfield and the best strike-force in world football. It beggars belief that this perfect side, has lost more league games than United and Wolves and only one game more than a widely derided Arsenal side, who sit in 10th.

People had accepted our dire league form, because they had convinced themselves that we would come back and win the FA Cup and the CL. You know, because its just that easy. Some will only accept that this side has major flaws (especially defensively) when we finish the season with just the League Cup.

Means we can focus on other areas that need reinforcement. (centre half, wide attacking player being the main two priorities) instead of chopping and chancing right backs every other season. Unless Cancello definitely wants to leave then we dont need to be looking at right back as a position to address. Left back I can see the need for reinforcements/improvements but not right back.

As far s Garcia - if there was truth in it Id look to cash in - He is a very good player bu his lack of height and pace would be a concern regarding his long term success in the prem league.However, I doubt there is any truth in it and its more likely Barca trying to maintain a level of relevance in the transfer market without any actual intent to buy.
