Eric Garcia to Barcelona

One factor you have forgotten about and that is the covid situation. Especially in the Barcelona region. Its going to take a very long time before the whole world can fully recover. Never mind a football club.

Convinces me of nothing. Anyone can tweet anything. I'm not saying it isn't possible, i'm just questioning if it really is the case. I can't see the sense in it, or a contractual logic to it, given he'd be winning it with a different club, the whole point of these clauses is it spreads the investment of the buying club over probable benefits.

Depends whether Bartomeu and/or Rosell still emerge unscathed enough to continue in which case much worse. I’m an optimist generally and historically the club has weathered similar peaks & valleys with different boards. It’s clear, change long overdue at top

Ideally, elections would happen immediately and change in leadership via Font and/or Laporta. Bring in Puyol as sporting director, Xavi as coach-among other things. We’ll see what happens when the dust settles a bit

Five years? Ten years? Do you see a united scenario or an arsenal scenario?
I doubt it would be a liverpool type catastrophe.

But we were happy to offer him a 5 year deal. If Barca pull out, we'll be watching him dropping us points for about 2 years.

There’s a strong possibility we offered him that deal solely or primarily to protect his transfer value. Neither he, nor to a lesser extent Foden, were paid much notice until the league season was virtually done.

I thought that might be the case tbh & it might be. But someone recently quoted me Pep's description of Garcia, which is total bollocks & reads like it's his Son. He seems to be saying he deserves a chance because he was a leader in Barca's U15s etc.

I've just this minute read that Barca might be sacking their d.of f.

The idea of him playing cb in the Prem, gives me the shits. I mean, if he's slow & turns like a tank because he's growing, then fair enough. But I recon it's likely he's just shite & Barca don't know the difference.

Know what you are talking about if you want to weigh in on something. There will be no transfer fee for one while wages will never be an issue, if he has a preference on where to play

You're living in fantasy land otherwise
