Very interesting news today and how it could have directly impacted Barca's ability to offer more for Garcia.

They had a loan agreement in place with United for Dembele who would pay all of his wage, in addition to also handing Barca a loan fee of £7m.

Barca, though, would only sign off on it if Dembele also agreed to protect Barca by extending his existing deal until 2023 (they didn't want him tearing it up at the Theatre of Screams and him being out of contract in 2022)

Dembele refused and that meant Barca's £23m deal in place for Memphis Depay was KO'd by La Liga because they didn't have the relevant funds.

Sound like Barca were trying to make the numbers work for two and ended up with nobody.

Manchester City are debt-free and self-sustaining.
Guess which ownership model the FFP rules targets?

Football at the very top & Spanish goverment has allowed Barcalona & Real to fleece Spain year in year out leaving everyone else to fend for scraps

Its now coming home to roost & you need to admit players like Garcia wouldnt get a fucking snif but now that's where you are showing

Gone are the days 100, 130 even 70m buys its not easy paying a simple €20m

Barca are now shoping at Netto while City free of debt, becoming stronger on & off the field in England & Europe while Barca fight of the banks its fans & struggle badly in La Liga.
The last straw is about to be broken in January there 1 huge marketing income not only for Barca but La Liga

Barca my friend are what we called fucked

Tebas, Barca & the cnuts at uefa wont be laughing come February

All 3 deserve whats coming
