Yes he will have a decent career however If I was a Barca fan I would be concerned about building my team around him and building my team with free transfers

He's precisely the profile of player needed at Barca. I want him back because of his talent, leadership and because he is one of our own. Whether he becomes a Puyol, Pique or other profile is irrelevant - what he will undoubtedly do is carve his own path and do it as a leader in the senior team

I know he was captain at various youth levels but I just can't see it at 1st team for Eric.
