I understand he wants to go to Barca and that's ok. What's not ok is being advised by those cunts to do a Milner with us. He won't get a warm welcome from me should he return in the CL against us.

Actually hope City do the deal this Jan now, our defence looks solid and we've got 4 quality CB's. Garcia wants out get it done, we don't need him any more even as back up.

It could depend on how much he is affected by COVID-19.

Takes me back to the tedious saga that was Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer from The Scum to The Harlem Globetrotters...sorry Galacticos. Sir Bacon Face famously said he wouldn’t sell that club a virus. If Garcia does go to FC Conceited then it turns out we would sell them a virus. Maybe it’ll be a free virus?

It's looking very unlikely that they have the money to buy him in January. Even if they can offer something, I think it will be so pitiful the board won't bother and will keep him as emergency depth.

Last summer was the final opportunity to get some decent cash for him and the board decided to pass on that, so I think we just have to resign ourselves to the fact that we're losing him for nothing.

When he’s completed his contract for us he’ll be valued on our books at £0 (though some training and development money may come our way) so we won’t “lose him“ because he’ll have honourably served every second of the contract that he and City signed up to.

We won’t lose money because what we’ll get for him will be exactly what we value him at in our own accounts and, at the end, he’ll be a free agent, not ours to lose.

And the Barca fanboy pussy will wet himself at their capture of a future superstar .

Blimey Colin, it sounds like you’ve got a bit of a personal issue with that barca fan fella. Something’s hit a raw nerve for sure.

tbf mate, if he gets you so upset that you start writing abuse like that then you should just put him on ignore and get your smile back.
It’s not worth getting so badly out of shape about.

It's not abuse as far as far as I'm concerned. He deserves every bit of it.

@blue by birth

Out of curiosity or to judge how much of a fan I am? It's an illogical metric. Nevertheless, on average, 8-10 matches a season at Camp Nou

You lot have nice depth in central defense, no reason to bash Garcia - especially if all he wants to do is return home. I am pleased, as I have said many times before, because he is a leader and has a great future ahead of him
You don’t watch Garcia every week like we do ( or used too) he is slow ansd doesn’t have a change of pace definitely not a leader , granted as he matures he may well become one
Yes he will have a decent career however If I was a Barca fan I would be concerned about building my team around him and building my team with free transfers
I bet when your cash returns you replace him
He is no Ramos or Pique
