It really is a funny ol game when you look at how Barca & indeed Pep, have defended over the years.

If both had just been consistently competent at run of the mill defending, to add to the pressing game etc, Barca & Pep would have won even more trophies. Pep would have won the CL with the German rags.

If I was a fan of Barca, on a Barca forum & reading that Garcia was being chosen as our saviour of the future, I'd be going fucking ballistic.

If he's still growing then it explains all the high hopes imo.

If he isn't, he'll either end up in midfield, or doing an impersonation of Karim Rekik somewhere.

But he's yards faster, stronger, miles better in the air, tackles harder & fouls better than Garcia.
