Erling Haaland signs 9.5 year new contract!

Can’t be true him and pep hate each other
They don't even have to like each other. Pep is the boss and Erling knows he will develop his skills and win trophies playing for Pep. I doubt if many of the players like Pep but they are not supposed to like him. He must be one of the most demanding Managers of all time. And I am sure they respect him as the best in the business.

Great news, we really need to start playing to his strengths to get the best out of him. Slow, boring build up, allowing a team to get every man behind the ball and in shape doesn't help him. He then needs an eye of the needle pass to create a chance which only really KDB is capable of. I hope this brings a different approach to our game which sees him thrive even more.

When the takeover happened ‘how long till the owners get bored’ , signing of all the top players - David Silva (he’ll be off to Madrid) Sergio Aguero (same) Pep - ‘he’ll stay a couple of years like he does everywhere and he’ll be off’, Haaland- ‘clause in his contract, stepping stone for Real Madrid’. They’ve all created dynasties at the club in their own way. Cos they fucking love it.

My aim is to be healthy enough to watch us dominate the next 10 years again. Got to be looking at getting close to the league titles of the shit/scousers and a few more European cups. Take over the world.

They never learn. Nearly every media outlet when he signed said he'd be at Madrid in 2/3 years, he had a release clause and would be off, this was just a short term temporary move. They said the same about Aguero, Silva and De bruyne as well.

The media are stuck in the late 90's early 2000's and we have a generation of media fanboys still yearning for when united, arsenal and liverpool were dominating. It hurts them badly and makes it all the more sweeter.

As an old school doom and gloom City fan the first thing that crossed my mind was………what if he gets a career ending injury (god forbid) ,do we have to pay his contract for 9.5 years?
I guess we have insurance for that?
