I'd be baffled if he's offered more money outright than KDB, and considering we've had some key contract renewals some of the players are on big money. Our wage structure would look funny

He might have already signed a pre-agreement with Madrid in January. In which case, doesnt matter what they offer him.

…and none of it goes towards his transfer and wages for FFP!
In fact, if we get him on a 7 year deal for €70M, that’s only €10M/yr against FFP, so we will have gobs of room for wages, either way!

It's a basic £400k a week, although it depends which outlets would incorporate the huge signing fees in to it, as that would certainly be closer to £1m a week.
